We at SCHVARZ Kaffee are a Düsseldorf-based roastery dedicated to specialty coffee since 2015. Since our founding, our focus has been on the connections between the farmers, farms, and cooperatives that represent the origin of coffee. Respect and appreciation for their work, which begins on the plantations far away and ends in our cup, guides our thinking and actions. Long-standing relationships with farmers allow them to invest with confidence and foresight, create fair working conditions, and ensure transparency in their operations. Fairness , ecological awareness , and shared growth are the guiding principles of our values.
As far as our roots extend around the world, we cultivate our regional friendships directly and in a close and accessible manner. The local coffee community is our home. We strive to be reliable and service-oriented at our home base: social aspects and humanity are paramount, as we are happy to respond to specific wishes and needs through open communication with our partners and customers. We select our retail partners and restaurant customers based on their genuine interest in quality coffee and a sustainable and ecological awareness.
To reach our private customers directly and quickly, to engage in direct communication, and to proudly take up a place in their kitchens, we value personal contact at our factory outlets. This allows us to receive valuable feedback, build long-term loyalty, evolve with their drinking pleasure, and introduce new products to the world of coffee. Additionally, our online shop offers a convenient shopping experience for the entire product range at any time.
At the beginning of 2021, we took the next step to make specialty coffee more accessible: we have been on the shelves in the regional departments of large supermarket chains ever since.
